Our Intrepid Aviators followed ATC's instructions to fly high and fly far, well farther then a straight line from Portugal to Sardinia. Their route took them north east into some weather over the French/Spanish border then direct to Marseille then due south to the southern tip of Sardinia, all at almost 11000 feet and... with not to favorable winds!
Ed and Zvi are relaxing now, and we look forward to a new chapter on this journey

Great to hear Guys!

I know Ed and Zvi are touring as they spread the word on the need for extensive Alzheimer's research and for the cure. The plan is to leave Portugal on Tuesday and visit Sardinia, Italy. Sardinia is a "Blue Zone"

If you are an avid follower of fitness and health trends, you have probably heard the term “Blue Zones” before. Blue Zones describe the five regions of the world in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. that have the highest concentration of centenarians (people who live to 100+) in the world. Islands and locations where people forget to die.

The five blue zones are:

Icaria, Greece
Ogliastra, Sardinia, Italy
Okinawa, Japan
Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica
Loma Linda, California

Being in Sardinia drives home the idea that as we live longer, we must insure that we have every benefit of mind, body and soul. A cure and awareness for Alzheimer's and research is our and wish for society. I'm sure there will be many opportunities towards that goal for Ed and Zvi in Sardinia, Italy .
