Still in St. John’s Newfoundland. Should be off tomorrow around 6:30 local time to the Azores. We did receive our satellite phone today, which gives us the ability to communicate with air traffic control every hour for position reports.
We are so happy to have the support and encouragement of so many wonderful people we have met here. Over 20 people from St. John’s have contributed to Alzheimer’s through our website.
We plan to leave tomorrow to continue on our journey. We met tonight the producer of of the Broadway show COME FROM AWAY, which is being performed across the street now.
We can’t believe the hospitality that we have gotten from our new friends on St. John’s.

Great to hear, although a little extra time at St John’s, it happens for a reason. Surely wonderful that you met and touched those new friends, contacts and new supporters as you raise awareness for Alzheimer’s research.
