We left many new friends from Saint John’s Newfoundland this morning. A least 20 ALZHEIMERS donations.
Arrived at the airport 5:30 AM local time. Got a WX briefing from Steve Pellettiere, the weather man for WMTR Morristown NJ. He said we can alter flight plan and deviate around storm Gaston, will add about 1hr flight time. He keeps us safe.
We have been flying for 3 hrs and have 7 more to go. We should pick up a tailwind in about 2hrs, once we turn back on course and head east. We have 13hrs of fuel on board.
9HRs from St John’s to Santa Maria and then a short stay… Ed and ZVI left the Azores at 5am EST Friday 9/23/22 and will arrive in Portugal by NOON EST…. About 5 hours flying time… the weather aloft and in Cascais Portugal is very good…. With a weekend in Portugal, they will be spreading the word about their mission for Alzheimer’s research and a cure, and some well deserved rest and touring.
